Second person feels detached

The taste was different then you thought

So was the smell

The color was slightly off too but it was close enough

And the words are memorized but there's a buzz overlapping them

You think for a moment 'shouldn't I be more excited?'

But then it's over and the question is dated

You can still feel the  heat on your skin
